In this first conversation, in a series of seven planned, Dr. Jeannine Hill Fletcher, Professor of Theology, Fordham University, will be featured in a discussion of her recently published book, “the sin of white supremacy: Christianity, Racism, & Religious Diversity in America.”

There is no charge for admission. All are welcome. A reception will follow the conclusion of the afternoon’s conversation.

Our Sacred Conversations on Race are an outgrowth of, and an effort to expand on, the work of our congregation using the curriculum, “White Privilege: Let’s Talk,” published in the fall of 2016 by the United Church of Christ.

Later Conversations in the Series will focus on the personal stories and experiences of people of color as they grew up here in New Jersey and throughout the United States.

Save these dates for further Conversations: February 4 & 18, March 4, April 15 & 29, and May 20.
